The Story of ZoonEx Systems
ZoonEx Systems began not in a boardroom, but under a freestanding roof in Tim Jonck’s back garden in 2020. Driven by the urgent need for safer, cleaner air during the pandemic, Tim started experimenting with ways to disperse antimicrobial products effectively. The early prototypes were built from whatever equipment was available — boilers, pressure vessels, and high-pressure fogging systems — each iteration teaching something new about how to transform liquid chemistry into protective mist.
One day, Tim’s son, Alexander Jonck, suggested a different approach to dispersal — a simple idea that changed everything. His concept worked, producing a consistent, fine mist that could coat surfaces and air ducts evenly. From that moment, father and son refined the design together, testing multiple prototypes and learning from each trial.
Eventually, the search led across the Atlantic to a system in the USA that could meet both UK and European standards. It was the breakthrough that turned a backyard experiment into a certified, scalable technology — the foundation of ZoonEx Systems.
Today, that same spirit of innovation and family collaboration defines the company’s ethos: practical engineering, scientific integrity, and a belief that clean air should be achievable anywhere.
